 Over 14 Years of Tradition

Since 2010, RoEnergy has established itself as Romania’s essential B2B platform for the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors—the only exhibition with such a track record. Across 16 editions held in Bucharest and Timișoara, RoEnergy has consistently brought together key players: innovative companies, professional associations, recognized experts, policymakers, and specialized media.

Exhibitors came from Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, China, Italy, Germany, Poland, Japan, Hungary, and Romania—specializing in solar/PV, biomass, biogas, biofuels, CHP, energy storage technologies, and energy efficiency.

Over the years, RoEnergy Trade Faor has become the main entry point for know-how and disruptive technologies into Romania—often serving as the first point of contact for foreign companies targeting the Romanian market.

 Romania Reinvents Itself from the West: An Entrepreneurial Capital, Mega Solar Park & Investment Records

In 2024, Forbes Romania listed Timișoara as one of the 'Best Cities for Business', highlighting its economic potential and strong appeal for investors.
Timișoara leads all regional Romanian cities in investment inflows, boasting the highest entrepreneurial rate in the Western Region and a rapidly growing startup ecosystem.

The largest photovoltaic park in Europe—located in the Arad county communes of Pilu and Grăniceri—has secured all necessary permits. With a staggering capacity of 1,044 MW and an estimated investment of €800 million, the project will cover more than 1,000 hectares. Construction is set to begin in 2025.

Meanwhile, 2024 marked a historic year for Bihor County, with over RON 4.4 billion (approx. €880 million) in public investments—the highest volume ever recorded by the County Council.
Oradea, one of the key cities in the region, upgraded its centralized heating system through a €200 million investment, resulting in a sustainable model with some of the lowest subsidies in Romania. The city now aims to increase its share of geothermal energy from 5% to 15%.
