The business environment and the authorities are clamoring in unison for Romania to enter the second wave of renewables: while, in 2022, establishment authorizations were issued for new capacities of 880 MW, here, this year, only in the first two months, according to ANRE, applications for 200 MW were approved.

As for prosumers, the new star in the energy field, as analysts call it, it is estimated that by 2030, one in 10 consumers could become prosumers, and for 2023, their number is expected to exceed 100,000.

The year 2023 promises to be one occupied not only by investments in solar energy (residential systems and parks), on the horizon also appearing ambitious plans for the wind, biomass, biogas and hydropower sectors. Unlike the previous years, in 2023, but also in the following years, we have multiple ways of financing at our disposal, for the private and public sector, from the local Casa Verde Fotovoltaice, intended for residences, to private funds and considerable European funds.

 In this context, the continuation of the organization of the RoEnergy Romania Trade Fair, intended to support the transition to a green economy by facilitating contacts between producers / suppliers of non-polluting technologies and consumers, is expected more than ever.

After an interruption caused by the pandemic, with an experience of over 12 years, the RoEnergy Romania International Trade Fair restarts its series of events with the Timişoara edition, which will take place between October 4-6, 2023, at the Expovest Pavilion (Calea Lugojului, 7). Thus, Promotion No. 1 Platform of renewable energies in Romania, the Romanian Renewables Fair reaches its 6th edition in Timișoara, after having supported other 8th editions in Bucharest.
