According to its own announcement, the European Commission approved on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, a state aid support scheme for Romania, within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), with a budget of 259 million euros, to support investments in batteries, cells and photovoltaic panels.
In this support scheme, which will run until 31 December 2024, aid will be granted in the form of direct subsidies to companies that will be active in the production, assembly and recycling of batteries, cells and photovoltaic panels, which are located in the area .
